About Steve
My big thing is the intelligence one finds in environments. That study has in turn led me to virtual learning environments (VLE). To further my “research” and to help me build tools I have studied (among other things) computer structures; software engineering; databases; systems analysis and design using an object-oriented approach; information technology project management; management of QA and software testing; and artificial intelligence. Currently I’m studying Java programming. I’m most of the way through a Masters Degree in Information Science at University of Liverpool (pure online). I’m also studying Ethnography through Massachusetts Institute of Technology Open Courseware Program (pure online)… I plan on understanding where my users are coming from. Back on earth I’m getting my hands dirty in SCORM and Common Cartridge because in New Zealand right now if I want my ideas to disseminate I need them to work as a plug-in to Moodle. My hobbies are organic gardening and ethical eating. I want to get into guerrilla gardening.
