Mayan culture has always fascinated me, enough so that I decided to get a degree in Anthropology a few years back. I have been painting Mayan themes for many years and have been to Central America and Mexico on a number of occasions. It’s an amazing culture, full of colour, chaos, old churches, even older temples and a very resilient people who have endured more than their share of pain and injustice over that last 500 years. I am fascinated by their intricate rainbow coloured weavings as much as their ancient architecture with all its detailed carvings and hieroglyphs. I am enjoying being part of this wonderful game, and look forward to its unfolding and blossoming into a truly magnificent never before seen phenomena….
