About Micah
Micah is a Musician & Composer/producer originally from Sydney, currently based in Timaru.
His ambient electronica project called stray theories www.myspace.com/straytheories began in 2000 and is fusion of layered soundscapes and beautiful melodies, with touches of industrial, lounge, triphop and electronica.
The music has appeared worldwide on various compilations, documentries, short films, radio, internet, multimedia projects, as well as performing live throughout New Zealand and Australia. Recent performances including performing at the high profile event Riverbeats LIVE 07, in Sydney, Australia, as well as performing at the Canaan Downs Festival this year in NZ.
His latest CD release “Eyes Closed” is a smooth journey of lounge beats and ambient textures.
